Re: Cash for Bahamas trip

My experience in Abacos - Hopetown, New Plymouth, Marsh Harbour - over the previous two years: No charge was added on to credit card purchase. we ate in a reasonable restaurant or two in each place (breakfast at McIntosh in New Plymouth) and used our card. Bought some cheap rum and used the card there too. Used the card in the airport at Marsh Harbour. My bank does not charge foreign transaction fee.

for little sundries and souvenirs we paid cash in US$

Very pleasant in the Abacos!
