We went the other way last year. Look at your
charts there are a few places marked with anchors. We'd plan to over-night along the coast but on second look decided that the
reefs where too uncharted. We'd heard that this wasn't really allowed and the Guarda Frontera would come calling. At Hemingway the
dock master had said we could tell them we had
engine trouble. A couple we met in
Mexico had tried it twice and indeed they'd been told to "press on". Also not much of a
current when we went (May).
