BVIs to Florida Northbound

Next Spring I am doing a lengthy sail from the BVIs to Florida and then on up the East Coast. My route takes us along the south coast of PR, Isla Mona, and the NE Coast of the DR before heading north into the T&C and Bahamas.
Has anyone had experience stopping over at:
1. West coast of Isla Mona,
2. El Macao, DR
3. Puerto del Valle/Escondido, DR
4. Rio San Juan, DR

Other than that, the anchorages in PR and 3 marinas in DR (Punta Cana, Bahia Samana and Ocean World) all look very friendly, even plush.
