BVI Marina Costs ?

I'm giving serious thought to moving my Beneteau 46 to BVI next fall with the Carribbean 1500. I'll bring it back to the East coast in the spring with the Atlantic Cup. Looking for any experienced advice and recommendation on marinas. Not necessarily looking for a full-service marina like Nanny Cay.... more concerned about security than services. Also, any info on costs would be very helpful. Any thoughts or comments would really be appreaciated. Thanks all!

Last winter Nanny Cay cost us about US$300 a month for a 40' boat. I think there was an extra charge for electricity and maybe water. We also stored her on the hard, in their special cradles that were approved by our insurance company for full coverage over summer (but this cost about $2500 extra for 6 months).
The security there is excellent, both in the water and on the hard I think. The people are really helpful.

Dang, Gord. That's like $30 a DAY for a long term slip: $900+ a month!

Please, don't shoot the messenger, Bill!
I have very little influence on marina rates.

I've got access to a dock in Road Town which for long term will come out at about $600 month with guardiennage services thrown in. If interested, PM me. You wont get an immediate reply as I'm bringing an 80 foot motor yacht from the Bahamas to BVI as I write! Tony
