Boat Transport from East coast to West Coast of USA

Hello
I currently have my 29ft sloop in the dominican republic. I'm looking to sail her either to Florida, Mexico, or Texas and transport her across to the south west coast of the USA or Mexico. I heard rumours that this is cheaper than the panama canal (which I'm understanding the total is a little under $2000 for my boat) and I was wondering what kind of pricing folks have gotten for this and if there are companies people could recommend for me.

Thanks!

I used Joule several years ago. Move your boat or yacht with confidence with Joule Yacht Transport

Their prices were the most reasonble I found, but I'd have hard time believing you are going haul, de-rig, transport a boat a couple thousand miles, re-rig and relaunch it for less than the canal price you quoted.
