We lived in St Augustine for four years and love that town. Both times we went to Abacos from there, we'd get south to West Palm before crossing over. On the flip side, crossing back is easy to arrive in Northern FL to Canaveral, Ponce or St Augustine. Plan arrival for daylight hours for Ponce or St Augustine of course.
