Best Books for Bahamas and Keys ?

What are the best books for cruising the Keys and the Bahamas? Looking for detailed info, marinas, services, anchorages, advice, and even local history and information. If you had to pick two for each area (bahamas and keys) what would they be?

For the Bahamas, Explorer Charts, aside from being the best charts of the Bahamas, have a lot of local information in them. For cruising guides I would use Pavlidis' guides. He has two that cover much of the Bahamas. For the Abacos, Dodge seems to be the most popular. Check out their websites.

I'll second the above for guide information. Also, I find Mathew Wilson's Bahamas guide the most useful in terms of marine services information.

Ask Papy

For the Florida Keys check out Frank Papy's Cruisng Guide to the Florida Keys (Blue Water Books). Frank runs charters out of Miami and does frequent up-dates and we found it to have the best information.
