Bermuda Mini-Quake

At 1238pm today, Bermuda experienced a 4.4 magnitude incident. Epi-center located 50 miles west of the Island. No damage to us at this time.
Maybe time to go back to my light weight bridle so that I don't have to slip my 8000lb flywheel mooring weight if the bottom drops out.

As one who lived in the SF Bay area for thirty years, don't sweat anything less than a 6.5.

Re: Bermuda Mini-quake.

Yep-of course you are right

But when you live at the top of a pencil, standing in about 17000ft of water, anything is TOO close.

Re: Bermuda Mini-quake.

Never heard Bermuda described as "the top of a pencil". But I suppose that description's pretty good!

Re: Bermuda Mini-quake.

Looking at that USGS map, Japan has had 5 today and about 100 in the past week.
