Bareboat Charter Northeast US this summer?

Hello! My husband and I are hoping to charter a sailboat for 4-7 days this summer. We live in NYC and are hoping to find somewhere within driving distance. We are thinking either the Long Island Sound, Connecticut, Rhode Island or Massachusetts (but we're open to other suggestions). We haven't done any real ocean sailing before so we are looking for a coastal itinerary recommendation. That being said, we own a small sailboat (sadly it's in Buffalo NY), have some racing experience on the great lakes, are ASA 103&104 certified, and chartered twice last summer - once for four days in the Chesapeake and then for a week in Greece for our honeymoon. Can anyone recommend a good area and a good charter company? Your thoughts are much appreciated! Best, Marilee

I don't have any personal experience with charter companies, but maybe there's a company around Newport or elsewhere on Narragansett Bay? Narragansett is a lovely area for sailing, lots of small towns (and Newport), plus easy access to Block Island or Cuttyhunk.
