Bahamas Checkout

My wife and I spent the winter 2008-2009 in the Bahamas. When we left we planned on sending the customs/immigration card in from Florida, but forgot to do it. We are planning on going back this winter and am wondering if we will have trouble because of not clearing out the first time. Has anyone else done this? Any problems? What should I expect or should I do something before going?

Thanks for any help

Re: Bahamas Checkout

One time as I was checking in, they asked if I had returned the last one. I said no. They then asked if I still had it. Yes. They asked me to give it to them. No hassle.

Welcome Aboard Cruisers Forum

If you still have the card, mail it back now just in case.

Otherwise don't worry about it.

Re: Bahamas Checkout

When we checked in this year, the Customs officer specifically told us we did not need to check out.

Re: Bahamas Checkout

I've been over there many many times and never returned the card and have never been asked. Don't worry about it.
