Was ther last month. Stayed in the new Yacht Club at Palmas del Mar - very nice , not too expensive, diesel was $2.09/gallon with in slip fueling.

We are currently in San Juan Anchorage, at the moment there are 4 sailboats anchored here.
We like it a lot, and are planning to go 30 mile eastwards next week and then we will go to the south side of PR.
There we will wait for a nice window to go to Bonaire and Curacao for Hurricane season.

Best Regards,

I'm also in PR, berthed down at Fajardo. I have pretty good and current info on the East coast of PR, including Vieques and Culebra, if anyone is interested.

I can second the report on Palmas del Mar YC, SpecialD. My wife and I went down there for the Memorial Day weekend. The rates and fuel costs (still $2.09 a gallon, and they will bring the fuel right to your slip!) are outstanding, as they are trying to fill their new marina. They take great care of you there, and their pool was a fine place to watch the PR Regatta. If you go there, bring heavy anti-chafing gear (or chains), as their cement slips are tough on lines.
