Absecon Inlet Rum Point Basin

Anyone recently use Absecon Inlet at Atlantic City; and specifically Rum Point Basin?
Looking for info on the access into the basin, we draw 5' 6".

Re: Absecon Inlet Rum Point Basin

We have used the basin as recent as 3 years ago and saw 10 ft all the way in at mid tide, The basins depth is in the 20s at MLW. I would call the AC Coast gaurd station located nearby or Kammermans Marina which is a family run marina right across from the Farley marina. BTW we have stayed there as the rates are very good vs the state marina

Re: Absecon Inlet Rum Point Basin

We were in the basin Sept 2009, entered at low tide, and had some 6-7 feet all the way.

June 2012 we passed AC and found 2 dredging barges, floating pipes, etc blocking access to Rum Point Basin.

+1 on Kammermans
