5 Day trip Northern Chesapeake

We are celebrating our 30th anniversary over Labor Day Weekend and want to do a cruise from Baltimore to Rock Hall, to St. Michael's (where we got married) to Galesville, to Annapolis and back to Baltimore. Any suggestions, pointers, tips?
We'll probably stay on the hook 3 of the 5 nights and just dingy in to town(s) unless it is as hot as it was 30 years ago when we got married (103 degrees and we had an outdoor reception!!)

Hi John and Phyllis - Happy Anniversary!

Not surprisingly, Labor Day weekend will be busy on the Bay. Going to popular places (St. Michael's, etc.) will be crowded. That said, I suggest you skip Rock Hall and go instead to the Wye River area which is not far from St. Michael's. This is likely to be popular as well - for good reason - and you may decide to go no where else. Annapolis will be a zoo. But with the right attitude and decent weather, you should have a nice cruise. Fair winds.

Stay north...less crowded and the water is fresh and swimmable...try the Sassafrass, Worton Creek, etc... The boating harbors will be very busy and you will need a slip reservation for St Mikes....possibly for galesville too but Pirates Cove with Big Marys Dock Bar is fun!. Lots of shade and water and make slip reservations...
