The St. Augustine Maritime Heritage Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2010 to bring awareness to the rich maritime history of St. Augustine and Florida’s First Coast. This is a Viva Florida 500 Sanctioned Event with the support of the St. Augustine Lighthouse, the St. Augustine Yacht Club, the City of St. Augustine, the Tourist Development Council and the Fountain of Youth. Proceeds from this event will fund maritime educational programs and the completion of the Chalupa, an authentic 16th Century ship replica that is currently being built at the Fountain of Youth and will be launched as part of St. Augustine’s 450 Commemoration in 2015.

Thank you for sharing this with your readers.
