Winter

We have just started a new adventure cruising the Med for the next few years and were just wondering what and where others maybe wintering over this year. We were going to Marmaris in Turkey having been there before it looked good but with recent events in Turkey we are not sure now??

Re: Winter

I was there twice this year, once in August and again in Sept. Stayed there total of 6 days. Things seems to be business as usual. Yacht services and parts availability is excellent. Manpower cost Euro 30 an hour. Compared to Euro 100 which I get charged in Kas. As far as eating out I didnt like to over-touristic atmosphere of the place including the over all attitude to foreigners (they just want to milk you). I do appreciate that these outlets should generate their income but I find them too pushy. Kas on the other hand is much more friendly, more affordable but lacks technical services.
