Dishwasher! Chilled water air-con, Aft docking camera, Hydraulic Med style boarding gangway in polished SS and teak, Bowthruster, Sonar and a dedicated weather/email gadget that i've yet to explore.

Essentially the experience has been fantastic we had an interpreter who runs a local sail charter business i will post the story once money has changed hands after Easter, meanwhile we enjoy STUNNING & BEAUTIFUL Croatia as tourists.
Cheers and thanks for your wishes.... Frank & Viv
The best of everything. Chilled water air con.

Yer i couldn't believe it having fitted it to large charter boats i've built i just never contemplated it on a small boat.

Oh and the watermaker self flushes fortnightly!!!!!!!!
AND there's an Epersheper diesel fired heating system.......

The sails, cushions and clears look like thev'e never been used. WE ARE STOKED!!!!

The guy is awaiting his new 440 oh and i forgot to say he had her slipped last week all oils/filters/antifoul/VALVES/waxed and polished etc etc at a cost of 13,000Euros!

We have the receipt and he did this knowing he may well sell it soon. Now that's what i call honesty!!!!!!!!

Wow, bow thrusters on a cat plus aft camera. This previous owner wanted to look good during docking. That takes all the fun out of sipping cold ones at the marina bars overlooking the fuel and transient docks.

It was so funny when we were back in Oz going through the inventory i sent an email to the broker questioning that they were fitted and he responded" Frank NO catamaran is ever fitted with bowthrusters!!!!" my response was "Well mate their on the inventory!!!!" so he said ok i'll check.....
Soon i had a email "apologies Mr Frank the vessel has thrusters!!!!!!!!!"
And doesn't it bring the head around quick!! i looked at the installation under the sole and it was very well done..

I saw the camera above on the deckhead in the cockpit and asked was it security? He sai no you cannot see the sugar scoops when backing up... Now being an Aussie and knowing there is a bathing shower on the transom for swimmers i believe i've found another use LMAO Cheers

Re: We are in Croatia and have bought our Lagoon 440

Hi, Frank, Congratulations! I guess we know the feeling - we have similar plans, but were about three months ahead of you and bought us a Lagoon 470 in the South of France just after Christmas. And after a bit of polishing and fixing small things (haven't detected any big issues yet) we checked out there for the first time and moved the boat to Spain. An awesome feeling - one day it's a full blown appartment, the next day anything that isn't stowed properly takes on a life of its own...

Enjoy the new life!

LOL Thanks we sold our 5 bedroom 11 acre place in Australia to do this so i know what you are meaning.
In a previous life we lived aboard a 35 foot sloop so the 440 is like an apartment to us.
We are anxiously awaiting the legal side to be done and hope maybe we might be aboard on Friday....... Cheers Frank

Re: We are in Croatia and have bought our Lagoon 440

Well done! I hope it all goes though quickly and easily for you. We are currently looking for a catamaran ourselves and are tossing up between buying one in OZ or to venture overseas. It is great to hear good reports of overseas purchases. I'd love to know how you ended up finding it. Websites? Brokers?
Cheers,
Enjoy
