Is there an ARC rally or something similar that departs from the US and crosses the Atlantic to Europe? If so, where might I find ssome information? Thanks, Jay

Yup. It's called the ARC Europe:

Jay, there's also a northern route (up the US coast then across staying south of the ice zone, IIRC in June or July) which is a very short open water crossing.

I can't point you to any information on it, but remember a couple of guys on one of the forums did it that way maybe 3 years ago, and were very happy to have done it that way.

Of course, you miss Bermuda and you're entering Europe from the top instead of the bottom.

Jay -

I have a 220 - 110 transformer, euro shore power cord, and adapter for the boat end you can have for your trip over.

I'm heading back to Annapolis today and hope to catch up with you in the next day or so.
