The men arrested were converts to a certain peaceful religion who were training to carry out attacks. Some of them had already been overseas and had fought in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The ones that were caught either pleaded guilty or were convicted on various charges.

Oddly, this group did not get get much media exposure which I find odd. Its not like NC has a squad of terrorists WannaBe and IsBees getting arrested all of the time. Course, our local media also down plays the ease in getting Ebola.
