transatlantic insurance

Sold a 49 hans chritian and buyer is sailing her with licensed capt from Ensenada to his homeport in Spain where he will put vessel in his charter fleet,Any ideas who will write insurance for trip contact carl levitetz@hotmail.com

Try Pantaenius Europe, not Pantaenius US.

Try IMIS . they gave us insurance fir a two person crossing.

I do not think IMIS can insure a boat with a home port in Spain. The OP needs a European insurance company. Pantaenius anywhere in Europe is a good place to start shopping. We use a French insurance company and ocean crossings with only 2 persons aboard is not a problem.

Actually, we can insure yachts with home ports anywhere in the world. Also, we represent all of the Pantaenius offices and programs.
