From today's 'Lectronic Latitude, comes the story of a young couple who've been cruising the
Med aboard their
Islander 36 for the last few months . . . a vessel they bought for $10,000!
Altogether now, "If I'd only known!!"

"Not having a lot of
money didn't stop Northern Californians Eli and Sara from enjoying a summer of cruising their own 36-footer in the
Med.

"Does everybody remember Eli and Sara Botrell? A year ago October the Northern
California couple responded to an ad in
'Lectronic for the Islander 36
Geja, which had been cruised most of the way around the world by Dick and Shirley Sandys of Palo Alto. After Dick died, Shirley put the
boat up
for sale, where is, as is. She just happened to be in
Spain, and the
price was just $10,000 to move the
boat quickly."
