The Canaries - which Island is best?

Hi,

It's nearly November and my thoughts are turning to transatlantic voyages.

I have a voyage set up in December. I wouldn't mind getting one in before then. I'm contemplating a flight to Las Palmas or Tenerife to mingle with the sailing crowd. I'm unfamiliar with the islands and the marinas.

Can someone tell me which island hosts the most sailing vessels en route to the Carribean?

Arc is exhausting.. crowded and they are finishing everything in the markets.. Lanzarote is good.. Cornel's Odessey is not crowded but good sailors..meetings are open to every body so it might be good info exchange as well. Lanzarote marina has reasonable prices..
