Sicily in September

Bareboating Sicily out of Santa Agata from 1st. Our annual 2 weeks of mayhem! Anyone going to be around? Meet up for a drink? We are family and friends, 6, ages 25-60 ? Any recommendations where to go, what to do and avoid?

Hi Halcyon Daze,

I will be in Trapani on September 3rd, then most probably heading for the Lipari Islands and Stromboli. If our courses cross there is always a cool Rose waiting!

Since you will be clear of August Holiday prices will be good. I would go to Syracusa or Taorimina.

Great places to visit, but quite a trek there and back from Trapani, possibly too far for a two week charter. North coast is good; leave the Egadi islands until your return journey. They're just a short hop from Trapani, so you won't risk being late back! Cefalu and the Aeolian islands are strong attractions. If you visit Palermo, hang on to your bags, and use the more out of town marina. More details on Sicily, Malta and South Italy | JimB Sail - and the map will give a idea of distances.
