Still looking for options but moving the boat to the Dodecanese or Turkey sounds like the way to go for us.

Just spent a week stormbound in Sifnos as the Meltami howled 24hr per day. I think this answers the OP’s question.

Don't know if you've already booked, but Corfu and around here is so beautiful and calm that we were supposed to stay for a few weeks and it's been 5 months and we booked a spot for winter as well, so who knows. We've met 3 different round the world types in this marina who got to here and just....stopped. One 5 years ago, one 13 years ago. Corfu gets inside you (in a good way)
