Laundromats/Laundry Services in Monaco

Whilst sailing the French Med. coastline I have been spoilt for choice usually when it comes to Laveries (Laundromats).

But here in Monaco the nearest one (and quite possibly the only one) to me is a walk and a bus ride away.

Does anyone have any suggestions for someone like myself berthed here in Port de Fontvieille?

Re: Laundromats/Laundry Services in Monaco

I seem to remember a Laverie in the large shopping centre right next to Fontvielle.

It was 4 years ago so maybe it is no longer there. Ask at the dock. They were very helpful when we were there.

Washing I seperate my colors from my whites, but in the Laundromat in Monaco the machine had a sign on it "Seperate Prada from Amani"!

I hid my Gucci.

Talk to your friend

You should read the diaries of your friend, J.C.Hobhouse:

'Our baggage was weighty, but I believe we could not have done well with less as a large quantity of linen is necessary for those who are much at sea or travel so fast as to not be able to have their clothes washed.'

By the way, loved Childe Harold's Pilgrimage - when is a sequel coming out?
