Kos Greece to Sweden any one done the trip?

Im planning to transport my boat to Sweden from Kos Greece. Truck from slovenia or france or maybe rough it and sail. Any one done his. Boat is a 46 foot 14 ton boat. Scott

No. But a 46 footer will be big (meaning expensive) to truck overland. No need to rough it sailing though. If your draft is too deep to head north via inland waterways, then the passage across the Med and up the Atlantic coast and into the North Sea and then Baltic would be a great trip. Might take you a couple of months, but you'd see some interesting places.

Sailing the way is of course the trip well worth it. Trucking from Croatia might be an alternative as many trucks are going up and down, looking for return freight. But it will cost you plenty. I would not be surprised if the bill will end up somwhere around 10.000-12.000 Euro.
Sailing the distance might be the cheapest choice. Be aware of the fact that sailing north is considerably more difficult than the trip south.
You have to plan well ahead.

Have you done the trip north? The canals are a bit worriesom as im 185 deep. Cant take 2 months off from work.

The canals will take at least 3-4 weeks. Only in season. 185 highly questionable. Yes, I did the north trip twice. You better look for a delivery-crew like atoll suggests.
