Is Tunisia a Winter Liveaboard Destination ?

Some friends are leaving Turkey in 2011 and are planning ahead for a winter stopover - any current information about Tunisia would be appreciated. Have heard that Tunisia is a bit like a storage area during winter for Italian yachts as it is cheaper for them than Italy!

No personal experience, but French friends wintered twice in Tunisia 5 and 6 years ago. They liked it a lot and recommended it. Sorry, I do not know which marina they stayed in.
