How do I get listed on Yachtworld with a local broker

I would like to see my boat advertised on Yachtworld, but the 2 local brokers dont seem to want to let that happen.
If I understand correctly , only brokers have access to yachtworld , as a private sale, I cant do it - or has this changed now ?
My 2 local brokers - I am in a corner of Cyprus , quite far from any airports - are quite keen to take on the job, but both only offer selective posts on the www.

Any suggestions ?

Kris

Forget Yachtworld and brokers... go private with www.apolloduck.co.uk its a world wide site and growing in popularity.. your in the Med so your main markets the EU..

Re: How do I get listed on Yachtworld with a local broker

For brokers it costs - and likely an annual subscription not a per boat thing. You need to pick a broker who is already listed.

But as Boatman61 says, yachtworld not the only game in town / On the internet.....have a chat with the brokers to discover where else they adverise in addition to own website... Imo very much depends on the boat and the market - would it be worth a non local buyer travelling internationally?, if so then yw for sure but if only nationally then usually other sites folks look at. Appolloduck has a decent reach in the UK and Europe.

Thanks for reply
Already on Apollo-duck and a bunch more
IMO the average experienced cruiser will know about other sites and search widely. Its the newbies who will look at Yachtworld.
I am just trying to cover all bases

I suppose I will have to find a broker in Limassol who does yachtworld

I am looking for my second happy day

Re: How do I get listed on Yachtworld with a local broker

Google your boat model and see whether it gets on page.1 or at least a same boat on a website you are also listed on.

also no harm in mentioning your boat is for sale on a few forums, with some key details (Inc price!) a couple of pics and a link to the broker advert,,,,,, of course some will say that is what a broker is for, but imo its helping self.
