Has anyone visited Vlichada Marina, Santorini recently

There are rumours that the entrence of Vlichada Marina has silted badly. I have a draft of 2 m. I would like to get information about the depth at the entrence.

I see no replies! I fly out to Mykonos tomorrow and would like to visit Santorini somehow. Did you try the marina? Or did you go to Ios and get a ferry?

probably a good idea -- we were in the area last year and everyone from CG to other cruisers to harbor masters told us not to take our boat over -- the downside potential far out weighed the satisfaction of sail there -- we took the ferry over and spent the night

We spent two nights there a few weeks back.we draw 2.2M and had no problem.they are very disorganised and will not take bookings,we ended up in a raft of 5 boars,seems the norm.
