Danube

Does any one know what the water-level is like in the Danube ?
In a few weeks we will start out from Duisburg Germany to go to the black sea via the Rhine, Main and the Danube and I hear water levels are really low. We draw 4.5 feet.

I have corresponded with a guy who did that trip a month or so ago. He said that water levels were v low this year, becuase it's been so dry, but that is second hand goss.

(Relevant to another thread - I contacted him via the UK Cruising Association as we're thinking of going that way in a few years.)
