Cruising the Med . . . Thoughts ?

Now thats great advice....ive thought that myself! Im wonder ing though what the size/mast height (imagine mast must come down?) limits to transverse France in this manner. Anyone ever done this??

As you can probably tell, I've done the French canal route to the Med., and I'm not the only one to have done so! It's a bit different, needs some extra preparation and is a great way to travel if you have the time and a crew of 2 or more.

Jatkins makes a good proposal. Alternatively head for Port St Louis at the mouth of the Rhone where there are many boats for sale, or even Malta.
