Cheapest dry storage in the Med?

Hello Mediterranean experts

I am looking for the cheapest dry storage for a 40-ft monohull (40 ft LOA; 13ft beam) anywhere in the Mediterranean for two years. Boat is VAT paid so it does not matter if it is inside or outside EU VAT territory. Boat will be stored without any work done on it and no one will stay in the boat.

What is the cheapest yeard you know anywhere in the Med?

This is for a boat worth only US$70k, hence it does not need to have the security you would want for a US$1M boat.. Do you have any ideas?

I only consider and recommend places with a security gate, video cameras and monitoring. Sorry, I can't help you.

I did not check this personally, but I heard many UK boaters put their boat on the hard on the Gozo island, just north of Malta for the winter. If it suits them I think it is worth checking this dry storage place. Sorry, I have no idea of the prices.

Try Dimstef Marine Seirvices in Oreoi, northern Evia in Greece. They have good security (vicious dogs) and one way car rental to Athens. dimstef.gr

My 44 ft yacht is now fot the second year on the hard in Halkoutsi in Greece. The boatyard Petros Marinos boatyard is safe, cheap and good organized. email boatc@otenet.gr. The owner live inside the boatyard.

Any yard in the Med is going to be storing many boats. By dry, I assume you mean on the land (hard) which requires a lift out crane...that costs money.
Expensive to one person is cheap to another and vis versa. Offering a price range would help others help you. I can recommend Marmaris Yacht marina for safe and secure. As to cheap, you will have to decide what that means. Kos is probably a lower price than Marmaris

Put Cleopatra in Preveza Greece and Yat/Yacht Marine in Marmaris Turkey on your list to call for prices.
Marina de Ragusa in Sicily used to be cheapest, but we checked for this winter and the prices were not competitive any more.

We enjoy the Antares 44i enormously! We hauled her out at Cleopatra this summer for a week of spit and polish and they were very professional and did good work in case you're looking for that too.
