bottom paint - antifoul - the annual question of cost

I am in Preveza and have sourced a local chandlery that has what the fishermen use @ 42.50 for 2 1/2 l , thats the best I found locally. I will be in Athens next week - is there a "budget" paint store around ?
.
I am hauling out end of the year for at least 4 months - so was planning on a fresh coat then - and as soon as we launch , we should be moving almost constantly - so the less expensive version should work.

I will have room in the car next week for a "few" litres of paint - just wondering...

On a separate note , when in USA I used to put anti mould paint additive for bathrooms in my bottom paint - it seemed to minimise the green growth. Does that work around here ?

Don't know Greece but have a chat with the local fishermen... here in Portugal they are subsidised for many thing and equipment is one of them.. I can buy 2.5L of Jotun soft antifoul for the same price as 1L in the Chandlery further down the road.. 58euro as opposed to 120euros x 2.5... big savings.
Find out where they buy theirs... it pays to be friendly and nice to the locals..
