You might try one of the towns outside of Athens (not Piraus which is a big ship harbour), such as Glifadha where there might be more pleasure yachts. I haven't been there with a sailboat yet, but hope to in not too distant future. Would be happy to take you for a day sail then.

As it happens I offer day sailing trips out of Hydra, a beautiful little island near Athens. You can easily make it there and back in a day.
