Any updated reports on sailing in Albania?

A cruiser recently told me they had gone to Albania and that they found it beautiful and the people more welcoming than anywhere else. It was, they said, uncrowded and inexpensive.

Previously I have read that the bureaucracy left over from communist days is a big hassle, and have been reluctant to go there. Now I am inclined to give it a try.

Has anyone sailed and stayed in Albania recently? What are your thoughts?
