I cruised there 2 years ago and I've heard that many harbours are not free anymore. Is it true?

From memory:
-Vathy, on Meganisi was free
-Galaxhidi on the way to the Corinth canal was free
(The sailing museum is great we had a guy from the town explaining us everything)
-The next harbour, closer to Delphi was free.
-Trizonia, free,be careful on the sunken ketch, you can see it on Google earth
-Corinth harbour was free not the canal though!

All this was at the dock with no water-electricity
There were many more but i need to look on the logbook

Edit: The town close to Delphi is Itea. It is a huge new harbour... Empty!

Re: A List of No-Costs Harbours -PLS add yours

Copy from boatman (not free, but quite cheap):

If you are looking for economy take her to Almerimar marina in E Spain.. it has all the facilities you could need and Almeria airport is just 40mins away.
I've paid 19euro/night and 22euro/night for short stays (2 nights) L380 and L440 respectively.. a 3 month deal would be cheaper.
Also your just 1 easy day from Gibraltar..

+ cartagena...

Las Palmas, Canary Islands: has NO free facilities.

Also, anchoring is FORBIDDEN from March thru September.

You will pay for anchoring if you come between September and March.

There are NO free options nearby nor on this coast of Gran Canaria.

Much appreciaties Captmikecoin. I'll be spending around 5-6 weeks in the Ionian this summer. Anything you know about Zakynthos?
