LiFePo4 info and help

Hi again everyone. I’ve been reading and researching endlessly and am still having trouble fully grasping every aspect of this system design and how everything all talks and plays together.

I was hoping to squeeze a few more months out of my current AGMs while I continue to research and learn, however they have other plans and are now hardly absorbing any charge at all.

So I was forced to take the first baby step and order the new cells. 16x200ah prismatic cells for a total of 800ahrs at 12v. Should be here in 2 weeks or so.

I think I’m beginning to understand what I need to do to keep the new cells safe, just not how to go about it. My real lack of understanding is how the bms will be connected into the whole system, and how it disconnects the loads when/if needed. I plan to use a REC BMS and the blue sea ML-rbs as recommend by some here, but is the rec bms directly wired to the ml-rbs? Can the rec bms control more then one switch? Here’s my measly attempt at a wiring diagram so far. Am I missing anything? Thank you so much for any and all help! I really don’t want to mess this up.

Right now my alternator doesn’t function. Eventually I would like to replace it to have the option of charging while motoring.

Re: LiFePo4 info and help

Looks OK to me.
I've had lithiums since 2011 (?) on the boat and 2013 in the home solar grid tie.
