thanks for pointing me in the right direction. cruisers are smart and if they don't use such a cheap powersource there is always a big drawback/risk involved why they don't.

Look at my option b) above. Prismatic LifePo cells, used by some cruisers already. And if rescue and medical is using it, its safe and relaible.
Especially the used once in 90AH or 100AH I mentioned you can create a powerful and safe housebank for the same price as the same usable power AGM bank new. Used is not a problem, as i explained and there is plenty live in them. if one cells dies it cost you 80 till 150$ to get a used replacement and your bank is back to full capacity.
