Some Stuff I Left Behind Needs a Ride

Last January I set sail from LA Harbor area to Baja. Once I got the boat set up on the hard, I caught a plane to Oz for an assignment. When that wrapped up I was headed back to the boat when another assignment took me to the middle east. I got thru with that and now I'm on the next assignment. But this time at least I'm in the same country as my boat. Now I'm here in Cabo San Lucas.

When I left, I was trying to conserve space and weight and I also simply forgot a few things. In addition, I have bought some new toys for the boat. As it turns out, I think I had plenty of room to spare. Too late now.

The point is, I'm looking for someone headed this way from Los Angeles/ South Bay/Long Beach areas who wouldn't mind bringing some of my debris with them. For starters, I left 100 ft of 3/8" chain. So I wouldn't expect a boat smaller than mine to be too excited about the extra weight. Heck, I'm not too excited about lugging that much chain up or down a dock ramp. So I understand if I don't get much response on that. But there are other (read lighter) items as well. Just a little too bulky for my luggage on the airplane.

So If anyone is headed this way in the next few weeks, please let me know. I will be in the LA area for a brief visit about the 27-28th of this month (Oct) so we can connect and I get some things to you.

I think I'm asking a lot. But just maybe......
