San Carlos, Mexico yard

Hello fellow cruisers! Our sailboat is on the hard at San Carlos Marina Seca, MX. I am trying to find someone who is there and could maybe do a quick check of our boat, just outside visual, maybe send a picture? We are home in Alaska and so far away. Heading down sometime in January and wanting to know what our various tarps and covers are looking like.

Email me if you are there and willing to check in on her for us.

Re: San Carlos, Mexico yard

Why not just email the yard?
You are paying rent.

Re: San Carlos, Mexico yard

Nice boat, the Kanter Atlantic. It was on my short list.

I agree that it's trivial to get the yard to take a couple of pix and give you an update. San Carlos has an active ex-pat/blogging community, I understand...why not solicit a pair of eyeballs there?

Thanks guys, I don't know why I didn't think to just ask the yard. We are new to this whole expat/cruisers world, also have not ever kept our boat on the hard for so long and so far away. The net in San Carlos was indeed very active and helpful, but I didn't think to look for a blog. Will do some searching now.

We were on the Baja Haha last year, and also know some folks from that group who are anchored out there and might be able to help.

Another thought is to try the southbound yahoo group that covers Mexico to Peru. Always lots of folks onboard in the San Carlos area.
