Relocating Catalina 34 from TN to LA

My husband and I are relocating to louisiana from Pickwick Dam Marina. We are going to Beau Chene in Mandeville, La. and need some advice from anyone who has made this trip. Our concern is should we put out mast down or leave it up. We would also like to know about how long this trip should take. We can't seem to find any information on trips like this one. We know there are several locks to pass through and bridges to get under. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Sooner the better. Thanks.

Did you make it ? How long did it take and did you step your mast.
We miss you at Pickwick and hope LA is treating you fine.
