Port Angeles or Neah Bay ?

For Canadians heading down the west coast of the US can entry to the US be made directly at Neah Bay or do you need to sail across to Port Angeles to go through customs? Thanks,

Port Angeles. Look into the Nexus program for arrival at other ports.

So. As one who expects numerous border crossings with my boat this year between Canada and Washington, which program is better for me? I-68 or the Nexus program? I would anticipate that it would not be just for this year alone. The Nexus is more expensive but pays for itself over it's 5 yr validity vs the I 68 annual renewal. Also it appears that the Nexus is usable if I go via car as well.

Have I answered my own question? Anyone have practical experience with these programs where they can tell which ones ACTUALLY work best?

I have a boat US Registered Boat in Canada las year we used it a couple of times to go into WA and paid the annual fee. It made life pretty easy on check in. They keep track of everyone who is or has been on board so that when you check in it is really quick and easy.

If your going to be crossing by road/boat 20-30 times a year, Nexus is well worth it. The waiting and waiting, one either gets use to it or it gets frustrating..............................._/)

Thanks all for your replies. We'll probably go across to Port Angeles and proceed from there to Neah Bay. Things are getting exiting. From there to SF and then to the Marquesas.
