Passing Through Fernandina Beach, FL

If you are in the area and you want to share some stories, give me a shout. We love meeting cruisers. We can give you a lift to the market or where ever.

Very kind offer. We keep our boat at Tiger Point for the hurricane season. We drive down so we'll have a car. Probably be down there the week before Thanksgiving. We'll spend two weeks in the work yard and then head south to Miami and the Bahamas. Been going to Fernandina Beach since 1990, nice town. Come down and see us on "Breathless" (Ben 393). We usually spend Thanksgiving with cruising friends in Fernandina Beach but this year four boats we travel with have all sold and given up cruising. I guess they all got too old. (and they were all a bit younger, agewise, than we are).

Hey thats great! Moved here last October, very nice area. We've been crewing on friends 36' tri to fix our sailing needs. We are shopping for the retirement getaway which should happen next spring. Cross our fingers. Read an article in Cruisers World. St Marys does a Thanksgiving dinner for cruisers. They do the turkey and ham, cruisers provide the sides. We will look for you sometime in November.
