Hi all!

I just found this thread - duh. Love it! I hope to do a lot of cruising in the Sea of Cortez as soon as I can get my boat there. I'm still in Florida where I bought it. This winter will be cruising the Caribbean, but then will cross to Pacific and eventually make my way to Baja.

Before I discovered sailing, I was a sea kayaker. I did many trips to Baja, both west and east, paddling from sandy cove to cove, with only what I fit in the kayak, including all water. Such beauty, and the people of Baja are the best - gentle, generous, and welcoming. Can't wait to get there in my sailboat!

I'll lurk here awhile, learning and dreaming, until I get closer and need specific info. Thanks all for a great thread.

Ciao,
Margo

Jmolan is right. Maybe they're working at cruising speed... It's only been a year and four months since the suggestion...
