I was surprised to read the 'rant' on the Bumfuzzle site regarding circumnavigators who, in the Bums' opinion, were fixated upon how long they had been on their circumnavigation. Feeling was that bragging rights go to the ones who have been out there the longest or are taking the longest time to go around.

Let's not start another Bumfuzzle bash here in this thread... but I think it's interesting how within the circumnav community there is perhaps a perceived pecking order. Anyone have any insight on this?
