Well I'm guessing this thread is going to be a busy one.

From what I've seen on other places around the web, and from the various youtube videos, I believe I would like to carry a Mantus aboard Hobo for my trip South from the Great Lakes to the Keys and the Caribbean.

My choice would be 35 lbs Galvanized Steel Mantus Anchor -

I never win anything, and I can't use it even if I do because it won't fit my bowsprit, plus I need a 65 lbs one anyway. BUT if I do win I will donate it to the fellow cruiser out there who needs it most. So, if I win I will announce it on this thread and then all he or she will have to do is post why they should get it. The winner will have to pay the shipping costs from Mantus to their address though.

How do I decide who the winner will be? I don't know, but I would say for sure that simple stories like "I lost my job and my dog died" need not apply.

What do you mods think, would this be OK?
