SAILING CATAMARAN 11.7M

This true Performance Cruising Catamaran is a comfortable liveaboard cruiser and yet capable of 15 knots plus undersail in full cruise mode.
She is a Pescott Whitehaven 11.7 m expertly built using best practice West System Epoxy Fibre Glass Encapsulation over Stripped Western Red Cedar.
This method produces a very strong yet light hull structure with excellant long life expectations.
Launched 2005 and now just completed an extensive refit inside and out she is in Thailand ready to pass any survey.
Send a personal message for the long list of new upgrades.
The interior layout is a large full head room saloon (~ 6'1") between the hulls incorporating a long 3m U shaped settee with enough room to seat 8 or more . The moveable dining table creates several plan options .
The large Galley is in the port hull including a separate pantry and refridgeration section aft.
The builder has included extra large fixed panel windows made from a specially strong product called Shinkalite as used in walk through aquariums . These windows were heat treated to bend to the curves of the hull.
The outlook from inside the hulls is quite spectacular with great light and no closed in effects.
There are two main cabins either side forward, with queen beds and locker storage .
There is room further forward for quarter berths or as we use it a walk in robe on the owners starboard side.
Aft Starboard is a roomy bathroom and electric head.
This sleek Cat is powered by a central 60 hp Yamaha Tilting Outboard with wheel induced turning for greater manouverability ,you can do donuts in port waiting your turn to dock.
The true Yamaha high thrust long shaft engine when the wind fails is an envialble powerhouse giving speed of over 10 knots especially when you need it to make that late anchorage or dodge shipping in separation zones .
Sporting a retractable prodder we carry a furlable high tech screetcher which can be used alone giving those speeds mentioned above.
Mind you above 12 to 14 knots I pegg it back a bit unless in flat water when it is an absolute hoot .
The cockpit is covered by a hard top Bimini walkable to the back of the boom,it also supports a 210 watt unisolar array to charge the new 300amp hour LiFePO4 Battery bank.
Back up power is via a 2.0 Honda Inverter Geni and a second 200W unisolar array charging the original separate circuit LA batteries still on board as working fine.
For the keen sailors of Cats she has well balanced dagger boards which produce good up wind performance and can be hauled up for shallow draft navigation.
The high bridge deck clearance so rarely found creates a comfortable no slam performance .
I am asking $175k US or $235k AUD negotiable.

This shot is Paw Paw pre refit and shows her sleek lines very well .
As someone said to me "Your boat looks fast just standing still."

Re: SAILING CATAMARAN 11.7M

Once again appologies for dumb operator trying to add shots and edit the Add for my sailing Cat 11.7m (39 ft).
These shots show the real timber hues of the interior (no plastic veneers)
The settee could also convert to an extra double bed for those crowded weekends , as long term cruisers we just lie and read toe to toe along the three metre back section very comfy.
Note nice line of sight from the galley to the cockpit .
The galley and connecting pantry have storage for months of supplies and a full kitchen of utensils.
Also the out of the way eye level shelving above the work bench for easy to reach necessities makes liveaboard like home.
