RIB Caribe 10'

RIB 10' Caribe 2001. I believe the model is MVP Light series L10.

Needs TLC. Great opportunity to get a Hypalon rigid bottom dinghy. Slow leak where I did an inadequate/sloppy patch. There are 3 chambers and one has a slow leak. I have used it with a 2 hp and also a 15 hp and both sizes worked well (motor NOT included).

Includes oars, pump and seat with storage pouch. Tagged in MD through 2018.

Located upper Chesapeake Bay, Sassafras River. Possible delivery depending on location.

Asking price $1100. Cash only.

Re: RIB Caribe 10'

I recently successfully repaired multiple leaks in a 2002 Caribe ten foot RIB, then restored it to a very presentable condition. How I did this will be an article in Good Old Boat magazine in November, so I can’t publish it here or even on my website.
However, If anyone buys Sailing Drummer’s boat they can send me a PM and I will e-mail them the article, which will give them some pointers to fixing it.

Jolly Roger

Your repair looks great. I researched doing the exact same thing. It's takes someone with patience, of which I'm a little short! Thanks for posting that.

If my boat had been a little smaller I would have gone that route. But the main problem for us is the boat is just a little too long for us. We were always having to worry about being at a dock and making sure the dinghy didn't hit any pilings. We ended up getting a 9' Caribe and it fits our needs better.

Re: RIB Caribe 10'

I'd like to sell this soon. Make an offer I can't refuse!

For the last year until I just replaced it, I've been using it in this condition. It's a nice riding boat and worked well for us down and back up the east coast and in the Bahamas.
