Hi all - am busting my cherry here so please go easy

Am looking for a Mikelson 50 - I understand few (18) were made but have not been able to find any for sale any where for a long time. If you know of one (even if not for sale) would appreciate and course to steer - thank you in advance.

Look up the Vagabond 47 by Garden much the same boat and many more out there....

We looked at a lovely Mikelson 50 back in 2012. That roll top desk and endless swooping foredeck are quite grand.

Thanks for the lead nwdiver. We are specifically looking for a pilothouse sloop with pilot saloon and station.

Do you think this Vagabond 47 in sloop configuration has just had its mizzen mast removed? The mast position does not appear to have changed between the two?

The boat is still my dream boat, after five years of sailing from Mexico, Central America, Panama, Caribbean Sea, US, Bahamas, Atlantic, Azores, Europe and the Med. She is the sturdiest, safest boat I've ever sailed. The space and comfort is outstanding. She has been lovingly maintained and is now on the hard in Greece, ready and equipped for a circumnavigation any day.

Hey guys! I’m actually looking at putting in an offer on a Mikelson 50 that’s been sitting on the hard for a while. We’ve just done a YouTube video on it- seek and ye shall find. I’m considering replacing the mast. If you see the video, you’ll see why. I’m considering replacing with wood- because F it. Why not. That’s the dreeeeeam and some of them were built with wooden masts anyway so we know the boat will handle it fine. We’re talking to a mast builder in Maine but we need a mast height and I can’t find it anywhere. Does anyone know??
