Want To Buy: Looking for Catamaran 5 cabin/5 heads

Looking for a catamaran that has 5 cabins/5 heads preferred but can do 4 cabins/4 heads if the right boat.

Would prefer newer model.

I have a 2004, 38' Wildcat. 4 Queen cabins, 2 heads. 21' beam gives her the interior space of most 42' cats. She's currently $190,000, and will drop by $10,000 per month until she sells.

A 38'? Did you stretch it or have you measured it at 38'?

Only 46 ft boats upwards have 4 cabins 4 heads as far as I am aware

We tried backing out of a slip fast but forgot to untie our front lines...

Actually, she's got extended scoops on the back which increase her to 37' 10" (as close as I can measure her).

A number of cats below 46' w 4 cabins...the Wildcat 35 posted above for example.

Interesting. Ive never measured mine, certainly looks longer than 35'. On the hard now so would be easy to do.

Ive thought seriously about extending the transoms. Should be a relatively simple project on the Wildcat.

I just delivered a 2017 FP "Ipanema" 58. 5 cabins, 5 heads, full size refer w/ ice and water in the door! Very large party area up top. Nice boat.

I used to run FP Bahia 46s in charter. 2 doubles, 2 singles (though adequate for a friendly couple), 4 heads, 2 pilot berths (bunks) mid ships, 2 forepeak "crew coffins" which alternatively could be storage. Used to run with up to 12 aboard (guests + crew).

Quite roomy, good performance, and at under $300K now per YW listings, in your budget with room for a major refit.

Also have run a few Privileges, the nacele cabin gives you a full 5 cabins, though the nacele cabin is a bit cramped on smaller versions (its ginormus on the 65, buts thats out of budget)...the 48 might work for you though. For such stocky boats, the Privileges peform surprisingly well and they are built really solid. Main salons are small by modern cat standards, but cockpits are huge. Not wild about the helm position, but you get used to it (fine under sail, visibility not great in close quarters).

You must be starting up a charter operation to need so many heads.

My Privilege 39 has four heads, and I removed three of them converting them into a pantry next to the galley, and storage in the heads for the forward cabins. As a cruiser, I felt that I could use the space better as storage.

On the other hand, if the crew all simultaneously got severe diarrhea from typhoid fever or cholera, the four heads could have come in handy.

I think the ideal arrangment is 2 heads midships...like on the Lagoon 38 and many FPs. It is nice to have at least 2 heads w guests aboard and if one fails. The multiple en suite heads are intended for charter use, but everyone's requirements are different.

Awful lot of maintenance though.
