Cat2Fold- The One and Only 36’x24’ folding, trailerable catamaran
With a large project multihull calling out for my attention, I am offering up my beloved Cat2Fold for sale.
After 6.5 seasons in Mexico, and over 22,000 miles sailed, she is looking for a new owner to continue the adventure.
She folds to 8.5’ feet on the water and is doable by one person!
She draws attention everywhere we go, so if you want to be invisible, this is not the boat for you! If you want a flat, fast, spacious, easy, safe, stable cruiser that can be trailered at highway speeds, look no further. This is THE coolest boat in Mexico!
Can tow the boat to any location in North America.
I didn’t realize that I didn’t put a price. I’m starting out asking $115,000. I’m just now in the process of listing her with a broker for the Catamaran Company.
We are still cruising western Mexico, at the moment. About 100 miles south of Puerto Vallarta. Will be up in PV by mid March.
Trailer is in San Carlos, SON.
I can deliver Cat2Fold on her trailer to anywhere in N. America!
Here’s a “for sale” video (totally amateur) that I just put together...

Indeed a cool cat. Saw it pass by on a trailer and wrote the name of it down. I think it was in San Carlos? Anyway looks like a great idea.

Re: Cat2Fold- The One and Only 36’x24’ folding, trailerable catamaran
Hi Brian, Its Tom from Purrrfect. We flew back to the PNW to sell our monohull and we will be back in PV Mid March. You've got a great platform for exploring Mexico and beyond. Your boat makes a ton of sense for someone who wants to "Commuter Cruise" At the end of the season the new owner can take the boat home and off too a new location whenever they want.
